Onkos Surgical Marks 1,000th Personalized My3D Pelvic Implant Case

My3D combines case planning, advanced imaging, 3D anatomical modeling, and patient-specific implant design.

Onkos Surgical revealed that the 1,000th case using its personalized My3D patient-specific pelvic implant platform has been completed.

The milestone highlights the use of 3D printing and personalized approaches for complex orthopedic cases involving anatomical variation, bone loss, tumors, or revision procedures. Through its My3D platform, Onkos combines case planning, advanced imaging, 3D anatomical modeling, and patient-specific implant design to support surgical planning and execution.

The platform also offers competitive delivery times and costs for personalized pelvis reconstruction.

The My3D platform received FDA 510(k) clearance in 2022 and includes patient-specific implants for acetabular and complex pelvic reconstruction. The implants feature designs intended to address bone and soft-tissue attachment and support accurate anatomical restoration.

In June, the company earned a 510(k) nod for use of its NanoCept Antibacterial Technology on titanium implants in the ELEOS Limb Salvage System.
